Notice of Annual General Meeting

Please be advised that the annual general meeting of the Pakistan Canada Cultural Association will be held on Saturday, March 13, 2010 from 2:00 – 5:00pm at the Islamic Center 222 Copland Crescent.

The Agenda and audited financial statement will be e-mailed / distributed at a later date.

Welcome to the new PCCA website.

The organization recently held elections in March of 2009 and a new group of members has volunteered to try and take this organization into the next few years. Saskatoon has undergone a remarkable change in the last two years with many new arrivals from Pakistan and this has turned a once quiet city into a active and bustling place.

In these challenging times the new administration of the PCCA looks forward to welcoming all new members of the Pakistan Canadian community in Saskatoon. We are planning for some activities in the upcoming year and as always we need your participation to make it a success.

One of our guiding mission is the inclusion of our children in this society and to make sure that they do not forget our homeland and our culture.

We now have a website that is in the early stages but hopefully will soon become centre point of our community.

We recognize that many members of our community face unique challenges and we hope we would be able to help them in this as well.

In order to start off this year we are planning for a potluck and details are in our newsletter and here on the website.

In order to make these events successful we need volunteers from the community. So please come forward and give us a helping hand, present yourself for the community work, be a part of a committee and make PCCA a success story. We hope that the preceding reasons are convincing enough to encourage you all to become a member by filling out a membership form available from any of our executives or here on the website
