Pakistan Flooding

All members and friends of the Pakistani-Canadian community will be aware of the tragic flooding in Pakistan that has affected 20 million people and killed over 1600 souls.

According to UN reports the country’s infrastructure has been damaged to the cost of billions of dollars and set us the nation back by 40 years in its development.

The following items are urgently required:

Rations of dry food
Tents and bedding
Medicines
Stoves and cooking utensils
Lights and torches
Water-cleaning tablets

PCCA requested all members to donate as much as possible through recognised and established charities such as Edhi Foundation, Oxfam, Save the Children, Red Cross and Crescent Society.

PCCA is arranging a fund raising radio show on CFCR 90.5 FM on Saturday August, 21 , 2010 and requests active participation of all those who wish to help.
